The primary objectives of this program is the improvement of the environment and to make the provision to provide health care services to the urban Slum Dwellers. Garden Reach being the most neglected part of Kolkata, remains denied of all amenities of life. Non-existence of Government Hospitals and other government facilities, children suffer from malnutrition, and mothers are affected because of lack of pre and post natal care.

Various Health Awareness Programs are held at different times throughout the year to impart the prime aim: Prevention is better than cure.
