Garden Reach Slum Development (GRSD) started its journey towards community social work in the 1970s with a meager economy with dynamic volunteer youth in the periphery of Kolkata Metropolitan Area.

The demographic area coverage of the organization are Kolkata Metropolitan Area, South 24 Parganas which include Garden Reach, Maheshtala, Diamond Harbour, Sonarpur, Baruipur, Uttar Dainazpur , Malda and other adjacent areas.

Mission Statement

Our organization is working with more than 12000 children, 2500 community women, health workers, community volunteer youths having partnership with various Govt. Organisations, Offices, Foreign Donor Agencies and local benevolent and stakeholders.
